International Upcycling & Sustainable Fashion Festival purpose
The goal of the International Upcycling & Sustainable Fashion Festival is to reveal and highlights the works of creative designers in Fashion industry who commits for a sustainable and no waste fashion.
The International Upcycling & Sustainable Fashion Festival highlights the creative and artistic work of the designers who are using unwanted and discarded materials, fabric scraps or clothes for their collection.
Conditions for Participation
The candidates submit an application form to participate for the Festival having produced at least one ready-to wear women or men collections Spring Summer/Fall Winter.
There is no nationality requirement applicable to the candidate and he is over 18 years old.
The finalists and participant applications are reviewed on the basis of criteria of originality, creativity and craftsmanship.

Any application that is incomplete, submitted late, contains false information, shall be declared inadmissible.
Warranties
The designer warrants that all Intellectual Property Rights does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
The designer agrees that the Festival can use photographs, drawings, pictures, slogans, any materials or other creative works, including voice or video recordings (collectively “Intellectual Property”).
The designer agrees that the Festival reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to use and exploit the Intellectual Property.
The Candidate is responsible for assessing the accuracy, completeness and currency of the information provided.
Privacy
Any personal information collected by us through your use of this website will be dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Rights Granted
By submitting a work, the designer hereby grants the Festival the following non-exclusive rights:
To use and display the names, photographs, of the designer for advertising and promoting the works in media and on Festival ’s website.
Neither the work nor any of its elements infringes upon the copyrights or trademarks of any person or entity.
The designer’s artistic work will not violate the rights to privacy of any person, constitute defamation against any person, or in any other way violate the rights of any person or entity.
The designer submitting his creative work hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the works for a running show, and understands and accepts these requirements.
The finalists will present several of their creations at International Upcycling & Sustainable Fashion Festival
Liability
The Festival may not be held liable for possible thefts, injuries or damages, of which the designers may be subject to during their travels and stay.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless International Upcycling & Sustainable Fashion Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses that may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, loss or damage.
Applicable Law
The present Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of France.
Any dispute shall be subject to the courts falling under the jurisdiction of the Paris Appeal Court.
Acceptance of terms and conditions
Participation in the festival implies acceptance and respect of all these aforementioned Terms and Conditions without reservation or restriction.
The Candidate by submitting his works agree to grant the International Upcycling & Sustainable Fashion Festival the right to use the name, photography, videos for advertisement purposes, including use of those materials on the Festival's website.
